Here, mountains plunge into the sea, residents live in cliff-clinging abodes and the mountains are covered in citrus, grapevines and vegetation.

Its string of fabled towns are jet-setter favorites. Positano...a pastel-colored cascade of chic boutiques, postcard perfect piazzas for spritz-sipping and sun-kissed beaches on turquoise water. Here we'll tour the Villa Romana, a treasure trove of amazing frescoes and stucco decoration from the 1st century AD. Further east, ancient Amalfi lures with its Arabic-Norman cathedral, while mountaintop Ravello stirs hearts with its cultured villas and incomparable scenery. Terrie Viets, owner of Solari, will be your host as you experience life in a luxurious villa, meals prepared by our personal chef, make excursions to breathtaking destinations and gain new-found friendships. Terrie has traveled to Italy over 65+ times and has extensive knowledge of Italian culture, its history of artistic craftsmanship, as well as its fabulous food and wine. Our home for the week will be the incredible Palazzo Suriano in Vietri sul Mare, situated on a cliff overlooking the sea, with six private gardens and terraces plus a path to the beach. Each double-occupancy bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. Exquisitely decorated, Palazzo Suriano will provide the perfect retreat after our daily tours.
